As a Journalist I'm committed to leading with curiosity, integrity, and a deep belief in the power of local journalism to build stronger communities. With over three years of newsroom experience, I’ve reported, edited, and produced impactful stories that reflect the heart of the people I cover — across digital, print, and video formats.
I specialize in crafting hyperlocal news that matters, developing meaningful source relationships, and fostering community connection through storytelling. My work has been recognized with three Kansas Press Association awards, and I’m proud to be the co-founder of Butler County Women in Business — an initiative born out of a desire to empower and elevate women’s voices in our county.
My leaderships skills were further tested as I grew from my experience and graduation of Leadership Butler.
From managing editorial calendars to chasing down leads and mentoring interns, I bring both leadership and heart to every story I write. My goal is always the same: to show up with an open mind and leave with a story that informs, uplifts, and inspires.
